The Commissioner's Guidelines for Continuing Professional Development for licence and certificate of registration holders in the Real Estate Industry have selected Occupational Health and Safety as a compulsory study requirement for third-year renewal of NSW Real Estate Licences and Certificates of Registration in the 2006-2007 period.
All licensees and certificate holders are required to accumulate 12 Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Points, spreading over two or more of the four possible Learning Categories outlined by the Office of Fair Trading.

The Real Estate and Ethics Training Company now offers a half-day
course in Occupational Health and Safety.
CPD Points: 4 – Learning Category 2. Assessment is not required.
